Alumina & Aluminium

The Alumina and Aluminium Division produces and sells alumina to aluminium producers and sells the Group’s own aluminium.

The Alumina and Aluminium Division comprises:

Aluminium of Kazakhstan (AoK)

Second largest alumina producer by volume in the CIS.  Employing about 12,000 people, AoK integrates the Pavlodar aluminium plant, the Torgai and Krasnooktyabrsk bauxite mining units, the Keregetas Limestone mine, and the Pavlodar heat and energy plant.

Kazakhstan Aluminium Smelter (KAS)

First state-of-the-art aluminium smelter in Kazakhstan.  Inaugurated in December 2007, it reached its run rate capacity of 125,000 tonnes per annum in Q2 2008.  On 1 May 2010, KAS started up its second production line, bringing its total annual capacity to 250,000 tonnes.

Pavlodar Machinery Plant

Producer of overhead factory cranes and a wide range of production equipment, supplying ENRC’s operating Divisions and major industry players in Kazakhstan and Russia.
