The Ferroalloys Division is ENRC’s largest.
It produces and sells high-, medium- and low-carbon ferrochrome and other alloys, including ferrosilicochrome, ferrosilicomanganese and ferrosilicon, as well as chrome and manganese concentrate.
The Ferroalloys Division comprises:
One of the world’s largest ferrochrome producers, supplying the market with a range of high-grade chromium alloy. Its primary product is high-carbon ferrochrome, with a chrome content of 68%. Also produces rutile, zircon and ilmenite concentrates.
Kazchrome employs more than 18,300 people, and it integrates four operating companies:
- Donskoy Ore Mining & Processing Plant
- Aktobe Ferroalloys Plant
- Aksu Ferroalloys Plant
- Kazmarganets Mining Enterprise
A major supplier of manganese and ferromanganese concentrates to customers throughout Russia, Ukraine, Central Asia and China. It is one of the largest manganese ore mining and processing plants in Kazakhstan. Zhairem’s mineral resource base includes the Ushkatyn-3 iron-manganese and barite-lead deposit, the Zhairem barite-lead-zinc-silver deposit and the Zhomart iron-manganese deposit.
A medium- and low-carbon ferrochrome producer, located in the Sverdlovsk region, eastern Russia. Provides integrated processing capacity for the Group’s existing chrome ore production, and operates Serov Ferrochrome Factory, Saranovskaya Mine Rudnaya and Serov Metalconcentrate Works.
