Ms Zaure Zaurbekova, Deputy CFO and CFO Kazakhstan

Ms Zaurbekova is Deputy CFO of the Group and CFO Kazakhstan. Zaure Zaurbekova became Deputy CFO of ENRC in late 2007 and has been CFO Kazakhstan since 2001. From 1995 she was Finance Director and, later, first Vice-President of Kazchrome Company.

Zaure Zaurbekova began her career in the Kazakh Research Institute of Automation of Planning and after that worked in the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She was directly involved in the development of the industrial policy and tax legislation of Kazakhstan.

Zaure Zaurbekova holds a Bachelors degree in applied mathematics from Kazakh State University and in economics and management from the Kazakh Market Institute. Zaure Zaurbekova has a PhD in Economics and is a full member of the Academy of Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

ENRC Divisions

ENRC is a public company traded on London Stock Exchange, with the Kazakhstan government holding 11.65% (as at 20 August 2008).
In March 2008 we completed the listing of ENRC's ordinary shares on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).  There were no new shares issued in connection with this listing.

One of the world's largest iron ore exporters by volume.

Alumina and Aluminium Division
The seventh largest supplier of traded alumina by volume in the world, (Source: CRU, 2007).

Energy Division
One of the largest electricity providers in Kazakhstan, accounting for approximately 16% of the country's recorded electricity production in 2007.

Logistics Division
One of Kazakhstan's largest freight forwarding carrier companies, providing effective transportation and logistical services to the Group's principal operating divisions and third parties.

Sales & Marketing
The exclusive supplier of all ENRC products, serving customers in all markets across five continents.
